Finally, a face/body cream has been called out for false advertising. Lets face it (sorry about the pun) creams that promise weight loss, botox effects and wrinkle removal are false. You will age - it happens, you will loose weight - only with exercising and you cannot get botox from a cream - only a needle. So I am delighted that SOMEONE saw through the pointless cycle that is advertising lying to desperate women the world over.
The Federal Trade Commission pulled Nivea over their new Silhouette cream which promises to reduce weight drastically. Yeah right...
The fine is $900,000 which unlikely to make a difference to the company anyway. It's just positive to see someone taking action and stopping this stupid charade of advertising lying and targetting women for their weight, you never see creams aimed at men for body sculpting do you?
No, men don't care!
